Espai sant Marc participated at Platforms Project 2025 independent art fair. This event featured 65 platforms from 25 countries with more than 900 artists from October 9th till the 12th 2025 at Tobacco Factory exhibition space in Athens.
The visual artists Barbara Viel and Marcos Vidal Font travelled to Grecia to present their works and to create new collaboration and sinergies with other platforms. Platforms Project 2025 will presented a rich and multifaceted program of speeches, performances by the participating groups. The Platforms Project’s aim is to present the independent artistic scene, as it is expressed by artist run initiatives. The project is directed by Artemis Potamianou and Michalis Argyrou.
The Platforms Project will be presented for twelfth consecutive year aiming to map visual artworks as it is produced withing the frame of artist group initiatives of artists in the international art environment in order to find together solutions to contemporary fine arts questions.
Espai sant Marc de Sineu participó en la feria independiente Platforms Project 2025, feria de arte contemporáneo que tuvo lugar del 9 al 12 de octubre de 2025 en el histórico edificio ahora reconvertido en espacio expositivo la Tobacco Factory de Atenas, con un programa rico y multifacético de charlas, vídeos y performances de los espacios participantes.
Los artistas visuales Barbara Viel y Marcos Vidal Font viajaron a Grecia para presentar sus trabajos, interactuar y poder crear sinergias con otras iniciativas. Platforms Project contó con 65 espacios participantes de 25 países y mostró obras de más de 900 artistas. Obra gráfica, pintura, y escultura fueron en la maleta de estos dos creadores que desarrollan hace tiempo su labor en el atelier de Sineu.
El objetivo principal del Platforms Project es presentar la escena artística independiente, tal como se expresa en iniciativas dirigidas por artistas. Este proyecto está dirigido por Artemis Potamianou y Michalis Argyrou y lleva acaeciendo en la capital helena ininterrumpidamente los últimos doce años. El evento nació con la vocación de mapear las artes visuales producidas en el marco de las iniciativas independientes en el ámbito artístico internacional, al mismo tiempo que crea un foro de diálogo y encuentro donde pueden surgir soluciones o nuevas preguntas a las cuestiones que el arte contemporáneo plantea en nuestro tiempo.
